I am proud to lead the team here and what an amazing team it is!

At Te Kura o Otangarei we are all guided by our Kura Vision/Uara – Values

To: encourage and foster Taha Wairua, Taha Hinengaro, Taha Tinana and Taha Whānau in ourselves and others around us.

We value Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga and we work together with a belief that we learn and grow together through a strength based approach.

We encourage whānau to be part of the learning process.

Our School Uara – Manaakitanga, Whakapono, Tūmanako and Rangatiratanga support and encourage tamariki to be  confident, connected life long learners who can achieve their potential in the World.
